I prefer to completely hide all the wiring, both inside and outside the building. This means modifying bricks so the wires can go inside, as well as cutting and joining wires where needed. This is more difficult with these older-style kits that have a lot of components pre-wired together, and don't use distributions, however it can be done with a bit of effort, and the results look great (I have 8 Modular Buildings now, all with GoB lighting, and not a wire in sight !). Couple of minor gripes with this one :

1. The streetlamp seems to be randomly either white or warm white depending on the kit (I think I've had 5 of one and 3 of the other). I prefer all the streetlamps to be the same, as they are all in a row. Fortunately I had a spare warm white bit light that I could use the replace the supplied white.

2. The colour changing bit lights on the "Pool" sign are a nice idea, but they are MUCH too bright (so bright you can't even see the pool sign when they are lit), - they also don't look right amongst all other lights. I ended up adding a series resistor to the power feed to these lights to dim them down. I think this also reduces the speed of the colour changing (maybe?) - but that's not a problem

3. I added bit lights to the lamps in the barber shop, as it would look a bit odd to have them unlit. Also added a third strip light to the centre section of the first floor as it's a bit dark otherwise
