GOB Club Monthly LEGO® Set Giveaway — Official Rules

1. Promoter

This Promotion is organized and operated by:

The Promoter is the data controller for personal data submitted in connection with the Promotion (see Section 13).

2. Eligibility

The Promotion is open to natural persons who, at the time of entry:

  • Are at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in their country of residence, whichever is greater);
  • Are residents of an eligible country (see eligible territories below); and
  • Are not employees, officers, directors, agents, or immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, children) of the Promoter, its affiliates, suppliers, or anyone professionally connected with the administration of the Promotion.

Eligible territories: European Union and European Economic Area Member States, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Norway, Iceland, the United States of America, and Canada (excluding Quebec). The Promotion is void where prohibited or restricted by law.

By entering, you confirm that you meet all eligibility requirements.

3. Promotion Period

The Promotion runs as a series of monthly drawings. Each monthly drawing has its own entry period beginning at 00:00:01 EET on the first day of the calendar month and ending at 23:59:59 EET on the last day of the same calendar month.

The first monthly drawing covered by these Rules begins on 15 April 2026 and the Promotion will continue on a rolling monthly basis until terminated by the Promoter in accordance with Section 11.

4. Prize

One (1) prize will be awarded for each monthly drawing. The prize for each month is one (1) LEGO® branded building set selected by the Promoter at its sole discretion. The specific set and its approximate retail value (ARV) for the current monthly drawing will be displayed on the Promotion landing page at /pages/membership.

  • Approximate retail value: between USD 150 and USD 1,500 per monthly prize, depending on the set selected.
  • The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and no cash alternative is offered.
  • The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with one of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond its reasonable control.
  • The prize will be shipped to the winner at the Promoter’s expense to an address within the eligible territories. Any import duties, customs fees, or local taxes that may apply on receipt are the responsibility of the winner.

5. How to Enter

There are two methods of entry. Both methods grant identical odds of winning.

5.1 Method 1 — GOB Club Membership Entry

Active GOB Club members are automatically entered into each monthly drawing that occurs during their active membership period. No additional action is required. One (1) entry per active member, per monthly drawing.

5.2 Method 2 — Free Entry by Mail (AMOE)

To enter without becoming a GOB Club member or making any purchase, hand-print the following information legibly on a plain postcard or piece of paper no smaller than 10 cm × 15 cm:

  • Your full legal name
  • Your date of birth
  • Your full postal address (street, city, postal code, country)
  • A valid email address
  • The words: “GOB Club Monthly LEGO® Set Giveaway – [Month Year]”

Mail the entry with sufficient first-class postage to:

Each mail entry must be mailed in a separate envelope and must be postmarked by the last day of the calendar month for which the entrant wishes to participate, and received by the Promoter no later than five (5) business days after the end of that month. Mechanically reproduced, illegible, incomplete, or late entries will be disqualified. The Promoter is not responsible for lost, delayed, misdirected, or undeliverable mail.

6. Entry Limits and Equal Odds

  • Limit: one (1) entry per person, per monthly drawing, regardless of method of entry. Multiple entries from the same person in a single month will be consolidated into one entry.
  • All entries received during a monthly entry period have an identical chance of winning, regardless of whether the entry was submitted via GOB Club Membership or by Mail.
  • Use of any automated, robotic, or third-party service to enter is prohibited and will result in disqualification.

7. Winner Selection

Within ten (10) business days after the close of each monthly entry period, the Promoter (or an independent third party engaged by the Promoter) will select one (1) winner at random from all eligible entries received during that period using a verifiable random number generation method.

Odds of winning: odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received for the applicable monthly drawing.

8. Winner Notification and Prize Claim

The selected winner will be notified by the Promoter using the email address (and, where applicable, postal address) provided with the entry, within five (5) business days of the drawing.

The winner must respond to the notification and confirm acceptance of the prize, together with the shipping address and any required age or identity verification, within fourteen (14) calendar days of the date of notification. If the winner cannot be reached, fails to respond within the deadline, is found to be ineligible, or declines the prize, the prize will be forfeited and the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, select an alternate winner from the remaining eligible entries.

The prize will be dispatched within thirty (30) calendar days of the Promoter receiving valid claim confirmation and shipping details from the winner.

9. Publicity

Except where prohibited by law, by accepting a prize the winner consents to the Promoter announcing the winner’s first name, last initial, and country of residence on the Promoter’s website and social media channels. The winner may, at any time and without affecting their right to receive the prize, request that this announcement be removed by emailing the Promoter at the address in Section 16.

No further use of a winner’s name, likeness, voice, or image will be made without that winner’s separate written consent.

10. Taxes

Any taxes, levies, or other charges arising from acceptance of the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. The Promoter will report any payments or in-kind awards to tax authorities where required by applicable law.

11. Cancellation, Modification, and Disqualification

The Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion and to the extent permitted by applicable law, to cancel, suspend, modify, or terminate the Promotion (or any monthly drawing) if fraud, technical failure, force majeure, or any other factor beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control compromises the integrity or proper functioning of the Promotion.

The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant it reasonably suspects of tampering with the entry process, violating these Official Rules, or acting in a disruptive or unsportsmanlike manner.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Promoter, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents are not liable for any loss or damage of any kind arising out of or in connection with participation in the Promotion or the receipt, use, or misuse of any prize, except for liability that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer protection laws (including, without limitation, liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud).

Nothing in these Official Rules limits any statutory rights you may have under your local consumer protection laws.

13. Data Protection (GDPR)

The Promoter processes personal data submitted in connection with the Promotion in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679) and applicable national data protection laws.

  • Data Controller: Game of Bricks OÜ, address as set out in Section 1.
  • Categories of data: name, date of birth, postal address, email address, and (for winners only) any additional verification data required to ship the prize.
  • Purposes of processing: (a) administering the Promotion, including verifying eligibility, conducting the drawing, and notifying and shipping prizes to winners; (b) complying with legal obligations; and (c) where you have given separate consent, sending you marketing communications.
  • Legal basis: performance of the contract represented by these Official Rules (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), compliance with legal obligations (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR), and the Promoter’s legitimate interest in operating and promoting its business (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • Recipients: service providers acting on behalf of the Promoter (for example, shipping carriers and IT providers) under appropriate contractual safeguards. Personal data is not sold to third parties.
  • Retention: entry data is retained for the duration of the relevant monthly drawing and for up to twelve (12) months thereafter for audit and dispute-resolution purposes, after which it is deleted, except where longer retention is required by law.
  • Your rights: you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict the processing of, port, and object to the processing of your personal data, and to withdraw any consent you have given. To exercise these rights, contact the Promoter at the address in Section 16.
  • Right to lodge a complaint: you may lodge a complaint with the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon, www.aki.ee) or the supervisory authority in your country of residence.

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Official Rules and any matter arising out of or in connection with the Promotion are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.

Any dispute arising out of or in connection with the Promotion that cannot be resolved amicably will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tallinn, Estonia, except that consumers resident in the European Union retain the right to bring proceedings in the courts of their country of residence to the extent required by applicable consumer protection law.

15. LEGO® Trademark Disclaimer

LEGO® is a trademark of the LEGO Group of Companies, which does not sponsor, authorize, or endorse this Promotion. The Promoter is not affiliated with the LEGO Group. All LEGO® building sets used as prizes are genuine LEGO® products purchased by the Promoter.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Official Rules is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be severed and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

18. Acceptance

By entering the Promotion, each entrant acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Official Rules and by the decisions of the Promoter, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Promotion.
