This was such a great investment. It really made the model come to life. There are a couple of things to be aware of though. On the coal cart, the strip tape tends to start peeling off since the LED strip is upside down. I ended up wedging it under the yellow border and after trial and error it eventually worked. Also, at the smoke stack the instructions tell you pull the very thin wire through an area where it will most likely shear the wire, which is what happened with me. I would suggest looking at it carefully and be aware that it doesn’t take much. Fortunately i was able to solder it back. Finally, the amount of wire from the passenger cart to the controller hub is a bit short. While it is not directly an issue, the hub is under the coal cart, so once you connect the passenger car, it leaves very little room wire in the coal cart as the hub is secured underneath it. Maybe not an issue if you wire it on a wide table, but i have it on a narrow shelf so it leaves very little room to connect the cables without moving the passenger car to the right. If the coal cart had more wire length that would have helped a ton. Im going to work on installing wireless connectors so the disassembly is more manageable.

Great quality product that really brings my Lego products to life. Also the instructions are so so easy to use.

Bought it for a birthday present before the hogwarts castle and sound system came in. After playing with the sound feature for the castle, I wish I sprang for the sound system on this set knowing it won't just make train noises. Pretty happy with the customer service. The wires aren't as flimsy as they say. There was a few spots I snapped a piece on and thought, "well that's broken now." Only to be pleasantly surprised at the end. Would be easier to install if I didn't have giant hands, but challenges are fun, and this one I worth it!
