It was easy to install until you get to the lights at the base...

Lights at the base require A LOT of dexterity to properly get into position to allow the lego pieces to fit back on. I ended up not following the instructions exactly and instead using a toothpick to poke the LEDs into the gaps of the bricks before setting the bricks down.

This was also my first kit, and I didn't expect the power distribution board to just hang outside of the pot. Probably the only clean way to display it now is to wrap the board and excess cabling in black tape to make it look like a single power cord coming out of the pot.
