LEGO games are fun and as we grow older, they can be as simple or as complex as we want them to be. As children, there are many skills we learn from LEGO and as we grow older, we can utilize LEGO for brain development and power. LEGO games are a great way to exercise your brain. There are LEGO benefits for toddlers that can be utilized.

Reasons you should play with LEGO for brain development

LEGO for brain power can improve the way we look and think about things. If you're doubting the power of LEGO then here are four reasons you should play with LEGO for brain development, power, and cognitive improvement.

1. Perspectives —

The ability to look at things from different angles is a quality that is important for a lot of reasons. It's important to be able to understand another person's perspective during an argument. It is also important to be able to view problems from different angles. Due to the versatility of LEGO, it encourages the players to think outside the box.

If one way doesn't work then there's another way to try it perhaps one of the blocks is a little shaky. This is how life works. Sometimes the path towards a solution isn't clear cut, you have to view the problem from different angles. LEGO trains your brain to see things in different ways, not just a singular way. Life is multi-faceted.

2. Requires concentration — Procrastination and distractions are two major time-eaters in life. Time flies by rather quickly when a deadline is approaching or when you're having fun. The problem is it is always one of the two, therefore, time always flies. Building LEGO can't be done absentmindedly it needs concentration and effort in equal measures. This will improve your desire or the will to concentrate on tasks. Once you're less distracted and more concentrated you're more likely to complete your tasks.

3. Creativity — Playing LEGO fosters creativity in several ways. Firstly it helps you think outside the box. LEGO does not have a set structure or a correct structure, the decision is completely in your hands. This means that you are free to imagine huge constructions. You are only limited by your mind.

Creativity blossoms in situations like this. Secondly, the more you channel your creativity, the easier it'll be for you to access. The more creative you are, the more creativity is accessible to you. LEGO exercises your brain in the best way possible and a great side effect is being more creative.

4. Productive Past time — If you're one of those people who find it very hard to relax and wind down, LEGO can help you wind down and relax in a productive manner. In addition, the productive nature of the game can even encourage your brain to release serotonin, a really wonderful hormone that is closely related to the feeling of happiness.

Conclusion

A lot of people think LEGO is for children but that is completely untrue. There are skills children learn from LEGO but adults can also gain knowledge. The vast construction possibilities available are also accessible by adults. You can create more complex structures and while doing this your brain is also getting exercised. LEGO is wonderful to refresh cognitive thinking as well as creativity. It is a fun and productive way to enjoy yourself. Indulge in LEGO for brain development and power today.

I definitely agree with this artical! I am 17 next week and I still do lego, it allows me to just let out my creative desires. When people see the amount of lego I have at my disposal, they say I have too much of it, but I say that I don’t have enough, you can never have too much lego as the more you have, the more possibilities you have. I mainly build custom lego star wars builds, but they are quite a challenge sometimes, as I have limited peaces. Everytime I do a build, it is a challenge, as I hate to plan a head, I just like to build based on a picture in my mind, and once I have finished it, it looks awesome! Lego is definitely for everyone! Infinite possibilites, and infinte entertainment!
