LEGO Jurassic Park: bigger and better
Lego came back bigger and better with the revelation of the new Jurassic Park set which has up to 3120 pieces! This is an exciting outcome for LEGO fans and we all know they keep adding to their collection (despite all the pain LEGO pieces give when you accidentally step on them). The company has previously released others including the LEGO Jurassic World 2019 set that were relatively smaller than this set making the latest Jurassic Park LEGO Set the largest ever.
Features
If you love the Jurassic Park movie and LEGO Jurassic World, then you’re going to love the Lego Jurassic Park set even better. The set does a great job at recreating some of the best scenes of the movies and even features the toilet so players can easily recreate the death of the lawyer, Donald Gennaro. Here are some of the other features of this 3000-piece set:
1. Jurassic Park Gate
This is one of the biggest features of the set, over 16 inches high and 5 inches deep, and can be opened with a trigger. This is where most of the major scenes in the movie are recreated. Its size makes it all the more appealing and realistic, sure to be a fun part of playing with the set. With jungle leaves and flames, their gate remains one of the most iconic features of the Lego Jurassic Park Sets.
2. LEGO T-rex dinosaur
There really can’t be any Jurassic Park without a T-rex dinosaur. The set comes with a T-rex dinosaur figure that is 8 inches high, 6 inches wide and 27 inches long.
3. Ray Arnold’s control room
With accurate recreations of the scenes in the movie, the set comes with Ray Arnold’s control room with a chair and a desk that can be built by players. It also incorporates 3 computers – making it all the more modern.
4. John Hammond’s dining room
You’ve got to love LEGO when they recreate a dining room with ice-cream and cookies. Although they’re not real, they do serve as a great addition to the set. Also included are a chair and table.
5. Minifigures
Based on the movie, there are six dinosaur Minifigures added to the set and these are John Hammond, Alan Grant, Ray Arnold, Dennis Nedry, Ian Malcolm, and Ellie Settler.
6. Dinosaur nest
A buildable nest can be found on the wall of the Jurassic Park Gate and it comes with two cracked eggs.
7. Dennis Nedry scene
The scene with Dennis Nedry is also recreated in the set featuring a shaving cream can and mudslide – another reason the Lego Jurassic Park Set is much better than its predecessors.
8. Accessories
Just like the LEGO 75936 Jurassic World set, LEGO was sure to incorporate accessory items, ensuring acute attention is paid to detail. Some of these are Alan Grant’s dinosaur claw and John Hammond’s hat.
Conclusion
The great thing about LEGO is that they can be designed with special LEGO lights. The set goes for $250 and you can get special LEGO light kit to go with it from Game of Bricks. This is a great way to make your very own Jurassic Park stand out.
