I like these because they are tiny and have four LEDs that rotate sequentially. The don't just turn on and off in sequence, but do a fast fade from one light to the next, giving a much better look. Great for making very tiny Enterprise warp engines

I've added a couple of these to the breakdown truck that comes with the 10264 Corner Garage modular building. This is a really nice vehicle model already, but it's made even better with GoB lights. The standard lights kit has bit lights for the headlamps and tail lights, but as soon as I saw these rotating beacons, I thought they'd look great on top of the truck. I like to hide all my wiring, so it took me quite a while to bury everything inside the chassis (I dont mind modifying bricks and cutting/joining wires). I've also added a wireless power connector so eventually I'll be able to move the truck to different positions in my town by having several power pads built into the ground. The beacons are not cheap at more than £5 each, but there's an impressive amount in a very small space and they add much needed movement to a static model

A foil carrying 4 LEDs, rolled up into a cylinder. The LEDs flash one after the other and the sequence gives an illusion of movement, of rotation. If you take a close look, you can identify each LED lighting up. The frequency could be a bit faster. Without concentrating on the LEDs the illusion works. Why 5 stars? Because game of bricks managed to minimize the size of the construct, that it fits into a 1x1x1 cylindric brick - as shown on the photo, or into the center cylinder of a 2x2x1 brick, and so on. They make realy good rotating lights.
