Challenging but Rewarding

Took me a while to do this properly.

All the Lights & Wires were there to make this X-Wing look it’s best in the Dark.

The most time Consuming was hiding the wires (I love things that Give you a Challenge).

Now during the day you would not Know there were LED Lights fitted on the X-Wing.

Even though this kit dose not have a lot of lights and they don’t do Fantastic things (Compared to other Models I’ve done) It is VERY REWARDING to complete it and not see any Wires.

Awesome looking lights

Really great looking, but the wires are red/black color wich doesnt really fit the colors on the ship and doesnt blend in so well. The wires are a bit short.

But aside from that im very happy with this kit. (i used in on a other lego X-wing kit than it was intended for)

In general a great looking kit, but.....

In general a great looking kit, but some cables are simply that short to fit them as discribed on the instruction video and are streched to the absolute maximum and can rip apart. That is not good. The solution for that problem is 1 more 15cm connection cable and 1 more 6port expansion board fitted under the bottom of the x-wing fighter, then it is very easy to connect from there all cables without stretching them and without the danger of them to rip apart because of that. That is what i have finally done and it was that easy and simple to reroute the cables without any stretching and now its all working brilliant.
