This was the first time i had fitted a lighting kit to a Lego model but seeing the images on the Game of Bricks website, I just had to give it a go.

The set took about 2 weeks to reach me in the Netherlands. It was well-packaged and arrived in good shape. Fitting into the lighthouse took care and patience. Occasionally I felt the need to take a break especially when trying to fit the tiny plugs into the distribution boards. I had concerns - which proved groundless - that replacing a Lego brick over a wire might damage it. But this was never an issue.

It probably took me an afternoon to fit all the lights and connect them up. Switching them on was spectacular and transformed a fun model into a very cool-looking lighthouse. I used the Remote version so could turn various lights on and off. My grandkids just love that feature!

I can recommend the set highly. The quality of the lights is very good and they make an enormous difference to the model. I was so delighted with the end result the I ordered light sets for two other Lego models sitting on my shelf......

This lighting kit takes an already impressive set to spectacular heights! The rotating beacon creates an incredibly realistic effect, especially in low light. The warm glow from the lighthouse windows and keeper's cottage adds authenticity. Installation was seamless, integrating perfectly with the set's motorized function. The quality of LEDs and wiring is top-notch, with no visible cables disrupting the aesthetic. Makes nighttime display truly magical - worth every penny for that genuine lighthouse experience!
