Although it was not as straight forward, with a lot of patience everything fits perfectly.
The quality of the actual Lego build (the train itself) causes to remove more pieces than it states in the manual. However, that doesn't change the fact that the light kit itself is great, and looks great.
This lighting kit looks awesome on this set, the daughter was amazed when she saw and couldn't wait to see it with the rooms lights off so it was completely dark, and the effect of the smoke is really good attention to detail.
It is awesome, I recommend it for everyone
